June 2020 | An important update about Life Insurance from Douglas Pinnell

I want to provide you with some important updates about life insurance protection. Here are 3 things to be aware of:

1)    As of June 30, insurers will once again require bloodwork as part of the underwriting of new policies.   The last two months bloodwork was waived. So, if you are not a fan of having bloodwork taken,  now is a great time to apply for coverage without the bloodwork requirement.

2)    Insurers are now asking questions about your exposure to Corona virus.   This may impact your qualification for coverage.

3)    And, since claims experience has increased due to Corona,  insurers are now raising their rates.
