Q. What does Sovereign do? Who are they?
A. Originally knows as The Merit Company when they incorporated in 1953, Sovereign General is one of Canada’s major insurance companies, and is licensed in all ten provinces, plus the North West Territories, Yukon and Nunavut.

As of May 1, 2006, Sovereign General with be the underwriting insurer for the Professional Liability Program.
