Corporate vs. Individual Coverage

Q. How do I know which is appropriate for me to apply for?
A.
Designers who employ full time staff should apply for corporate coverage. Clerical staff, however, such as a bookkeeper or receptionist are insured through an Individual Plan policy and do not necessarily create the need for a Corporate Plan policy.

The Individual Plan covers a single designer only when they operate as themselves, under a trading name, or when they are employed by a company that is not an interior design firm.

Q. What happens if something changes during the term of my policy?
A.
Any changes in your operation or membership status should be reported to your servicing broker immediately.
